The entrance to CerroVista
valley sits only 600 meters
(about 6 blocks) from the main highway between Guayabo and Bagaces in
the highly desirable province of Guanacaste. The province of
Guanacaste ranges from the "golden" North Pacific coast of Costa Rica
and the Nicoya Peninsula, known for its very isolated beautiful
beaches,
to the Cordillera de Guanacaste, a group of volcanoes on the eastern
boundary with lush cloud forest slopes, to the alluvial plain below
formed by the many rivers flowing off the mountain slopes as they empty
into the Golfo de Nicoya.
At an altitude of 430 - 520 meters, (1400 - 1700 feet), above sea level this assures you of a temperate climate and cool mountain breezes year round. The average rain fall in this area is in the neighborhood of 80 inches per year. This is more than sufficient to keep our area lush and green. Temperatures remain in the 70's on an average all year long. Remember there is only a few degrees difference between summer and winter in Costa Rica. Because of this, there is no real need for air conditioning. Quite honestly, a ceiling fan will be more than adequate to keep you comfortable. The lots in CerroVista are generously designed. They range in size from 6,300 square meters (1.56 acres) to 20,000 square meters (5 acres), at a price that is most affordable. Plenty of room and neighbor separation will ensure a peaceful, quiet, and serene lifestyle. Just imagine your own greenhouse, garden, outdoor kitchen, patio, hammock, and the like, to enjoy the beautiful year round climate and outdoor lifestyle. Bring your plane! CerroVista will soon be sporting a 2300 foot grass runway. Never mind the condition of the roads. Costa Rica travel and exploration is just a short plane ride away. Hangars are welcomed and encouraged. You will be in good company, as we have several aircraft owners relocating to CerroVista at the present time. A small brook babbles along the western boundary of the property. An abundance of monkeys, tucans, parrots, and other wildlife can be observed eating from the native fruit trees and drinking near the brook. CerroVista is not one of the Costa Rican "hot spots". You are situated in between the two quaint towns of Guayabo and Fortuna. You will be living life with the ticas and ticos, renowned as among the world's friendliest people. Within 10 minutes, one can be at the medical clinic, the dentist, a mechanic shop, the grocery, hardware store , appliance shops, electronic stores, and various other places of business. You will find these towns more than sufficient to facilitate life's everyday necessities. Nearby, (about 40 minutes away), the provincial capital of Liberia sports a new International Airport with direct flights from many North American cities. American, Continental, Delta, United, & US Airways all have direct flights between major US cities and Liberia. There you can also find a new and modern shopping mall, restaurants, major medical facilities, and movie theaters. Liberia is large enough to be up to date yet without the crime and hassles associated with urbanized San Jose. The big city life is a short drive away on the PanAmerican Highway. For the beach lovers among us, Costa Rica's famed "Gold Coast" is just an hour and a half drive through some of the most scenic territory on the face of the planet. They are close enough to visit, yet far enough away to avoid the higher prices and congested lifestyles afforded by residing there. And lest we forget, the Pacific Costa Rican Coast supports world class salt water sport fishing. CerroVista lies in the backyard of the famed Volcan Miravailes, inactive for the past 600 years. Towering in the northeastern skyline at over 6000 feet Miravailes displays a gorgeous background vision second to none. Nearby attractions include: Centro De Aventuras Canopy Tour There are

bridge and
